Antique Waltham 8-Day Automobile Dashboard Clock, Circa 1916–1917

$150.00

Early Waltham 8-day dash clock, mid-market touring era.

Description

Waltham 8-day automobile dashboard clock, circa 1916–1917, supplied for mid-market American touring cars. Original marque undetermined. This example features a 7-jewel movement, consistent with Waltham’s automobile-grade instrument clocks of the period, and bears serial number 20,238,015, which dates production to the 1916–1917 manufacturing window. The movement exhibits nickel-finished plates and classic period dial typography with an 8-day wind reserve. Later mounted in a custom mahogany display frame, it remains a well-preserved relic of early American motoring and pre-1920s dashboard instrumentation.

ca. 1916 – 1917
